Another score!

Woot! Woot! Collecting is slow but rewarding. After living here for 3 years I finally scored a box full of various Kathie Winkle pieces for $25.00. I was able to add some of the missing pieces to my collection and more that I will be able to sell.

Found a new Kathie Winkle pattern at the local Thrift Store last week. The pattern is called Mandalay. I was only able to get one bread and butter plate so will be on the lookout for more pieces.

Corinth's found today!

Another lucky day at the local Thrift Store found an oatmeal bowl and a bread/butter plate in the Corinth pattern.

Rushton's found!

Visiting my local thrift store yesterday I found 4 set's of teacups and saucers in the Rushton pattern. I refrained from buying all four and picked out the best of the bunch. Still looking for the oatmeal bowl, nappy bowl and luncheon plate to complete the Rushton set.

Another New Pattern

Cruising my local Thrift Store today I found yet another pattern called Renaissance. It came in the form of an Oval Platter. Apparently a person only needs so many oval platters.....

Hi Winkle lovers.

October

I have recently relocated and found a new pattern called "October"which is delightful as that is my birth month. I could have bought 5 dinner plates but because I was low on funds I only purchased one to add to my growing collection. So, if any one out there finds any Kathy Winkles in the "October" pattern let me know. You can check out what pieces I am looking for on the "Here Goes" post.

New shipment

I just received another boxful of Kathie Winkles  from a seller on Ebay.  It pays to buy more than one item from a seller if they have what you are looking for. I have just about completed my set of Corinth from this one seller in Ontario.; just need the tea cup and the luncheon plate to finish the set. They are getting harder to find in the thrift stores but keep your eyes open for me.
I am waiting for one more plate that I ordered from another seller in Williams Lake. It is a pattern I have never seen before. When it comes I will post  photo of it on the blog.
